Please submit your photograph/s (preferably not via an expirable link) to magazine@themodernhouse.com by Friday 29 July at 6pm, together with a brief explanation about the picture/s.

2. Images need to be supplied in JPG format and at a minimum of 3200 pixels on one edge.
3. If you are under 18 you must check with a parent or guardian that they are happy for you to enter your picture. You must provide your name, age, address and the name, contact telephone number and email address of your parent or guardian. We require the consent in writing (which may include e-mail) from them in order to publish that photograph and the author’s name, age and town or city of residence.
4. By submitting your photograph for publication you represent and warrant that it is your own original work, is not copied, and does not contain any third-party materials and/or content that you do not have permission to use. You also warrant and represent that your photograph is not obscene, defamatory or in breach of any applicable legislation or regulations and that the photograph(s) have not been published anywhere before.
5. We cannot consider any entry that is submitted on behalf of another person.
6. Photographs are selected for publication at the sole judgement of The Modern House’s editorial team and the third parties of its choosing. Successful applicants will be paid £50 per published image upon publication of the magazine..
7. By entering your photograph you: a) give us permission to publish it in The Modern House’s A/W 2022 Magazine, https://www.themodernhouse.com/ and our social media channels, but only ever in direct relation to the ‘Home Work’ project; and b) you give us permission to use your name and town or city of residence (and age if you are under 18) for the purpose of identifying you as the author of your photograph.
9. We may request your consent to edit, crop or arrange your photograph(s) as we think fit to appear in print and on https://www.themodernhouse.com/ and our social media channels. We may remove your photograph(s) at any time. Your name will be published alongside your photograph(s), but we may edit or delete any comments which you submit along with your photograph(s).
10. IMPORTANT: You retain ownership of the copyright in your photograph as its author. You are free to republish it wherever you wish and in whatever medium you want.
11. We will limit usage rights for any image published to two years.

13. In these terms and conditions “we” and “us” means The Modern House Limited. Please also read our general website terms and conditions, available here.
14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any disputes arising in connection with them.
