Studio naama

Studio naama is a young multidisciplinary Architects studio founded by Mark Rist and Natalie Savva. Making Architecture that extends beyond its social and physical qualities, the practice works creatively and collaboratively to invigorate and enhance human, built and natural environments, and derive new spatial qualities that enable people to occupy their environments in creative, rich and meaningful ways. The practice is committed to addressing the climate and biodiversity emergency, and promotes sustainable methods of living and building in their projects.

The studio’s experience spans the UK, Cyprus, New York and Japan; ranging from homes, to civic spaces, playgrounds and set design, collaborating with private individuals, artists, developers, schools and local councils. Its founders are educators, teaching Architecture with a focus on equitable housing and sustainable communities. The practice was awarded the Architecture Foundation’s Young Architect’s Residency and the studio’s work is featured in the publication ‘New Architects 4’ and has been exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale.
