As a studio Outpost is committed to exploring how people can develop new relationships to the natural world. Outpost projects are focused around the natural and a bigger idea of connectedness: from materiality and the process of making, tounderstanding contexts and that what we do doesn’t exist in isolation. We are all part of one ecosystem.

The studio is a specialist Passivhaus registered practice with hands on experience building with natural building materials such as straw, hemp, clay, lime and other bio-based materials to ensure both low operational energy and low embodied carbon projects.
