Neil Choudhury Architects create high-quality contemporary buildings which exceed expectations within any budget. Understanding their clients’ vision and objectives is at the core of their practice with each project an original interpretation of the client, site, brief and budget.

Their work achieves elegance with sturdiness. They design with a firm grounding in construction and the craft of building, using a wide range of materials and enjoying the inventive combination of traditional and new construction techniques. They endeavour to use natural and benign materials to make buildings that wear well with minimum waste, energy use and pollution. They put a strong emphasis on the clever use of building materials, the quality of light and the relationship between the building and its surroundings.

The practice enjoys having a broad range of projects in private houses, housing, listed buildings, showrooms, workplaces, community buildings, leisure buildings and public realm projects. They have both private and commercial clients and work with several registered charities. Several of their residential projects have won awards and commendations, including Best Contemporary Residence in the D and D Awards. They have been published in the British national and local press, architectural journals and interiors magazines.

Their studio is in Brighton’s North Laine. Projects are currently located in London, the South East and the West Country and they would welcome undertaking projects further afield.
