Nancy Nicholson is a Devon based artist, designer and weaver. Influenced by her previous careers in theatre design and the commercial art world, Nancy produces handwoven rugs in bold geometric designs that respond directly to the shapes and uses of domestic spaces. She is fascinated by what makes a home; the movement through space, the acts that takes place, the moods that are searched for.

As well as working to one off commissions, pieces are available to buy from made-to-order collections on the website. She also collaborates occasionally with other makers, such as The Bristol Weaving Mill, to create one off pieces or short runs of other textiles including flags, fabric and blankets.
