Izat Arundell

Izat Arundell is an architecture practice creating quiet and considered spaces using natural materials that encourages human interaction. They believe all aspects of a space needs to work in harmony in order to create a beautiful and lasting presence. They take time to develop bespoke and crafted architecture, furniture and fittings that have quality, and like to work with clients who have a similar appreciation.

The practice was established in 2017 by Eilidh Izat and Jack Arundell following the success of their first project, Porteous’ Studio. They have over 10 years of professional experience and the quality of their work has been recognised with several awards and nominations including the Scottish Design Awards Best Small Project Award and RIAS Small Project Awards.

Their interest in creating and sharing experience extends into all aspects of their lives. Alongside the architecture practice, they welcome guests to stay at Porteous’ Studio and enjoy opening the doors to new and old friends for their supper club series, fóram.
