Frith Street Gallery

Frith Street Gallery was established in 1989 in an historic building in Soho as a forum for contemporary drawing. Expanding into a wide range of media it quickly became known for a distinctive group of artists working in film, photography, painting, and sculpture.

Frith Street Gallery has emerged as one of the art world’s most interesting forces, instrumental in developing the careers of internationally renowned figures as well as supporting those at earlier stages of their career. In 2007 the gallery moved to a purpose-built space on Golden Square, Soho. Here the gallery has been able to expand its programme showing large scale works by Fiona Banner, Tacita Dean, Marlene Dumas, and Thomas Schütte amongst others.
