David Money Architects

Founded in 2002 by ex-Hawkins Brown associate David Money, based in South London, this small friendly practice has grown organically over the years, currently nine strong, specialising in private residential projects. Sparing with surface applied decoration, they create interest in form, texture and the natural beauty of materials in their elemental state. With extensive experience working on listed buildings, they often contrast the historic fabric with contemporary new additions. They welcome complex commissions, deriving inspiration from the restrictions of a brief and the notion of problem solving. It is the unique context of each individual commission, rather than a pre-determined stylistic approach, that is their inspiration.

The Modern House Says
“David Money designed the home of Connie Barton, one of our favourites we've visited. We love the sensitive renovation of the Victorian home, beautiful use of materials, and maximisation of light and space”
