Daniel Bär

Daniel Bär is an award-winning German architect based in Glasgow. With his practice established in 2017, he focuses on identifying specific architectural solutions which maximise the potential of each unique site and the individual ambition of each client. His experience ranges from small scale residential projects in conservation areas, through completing the first contemporary house in Exmoor National Park to larger-scale public interventions.

Bär has successfully participated in architectural competitions and won first place for the building of his competition proposal for the Scottish Scenic Routes in Inveruglas, completed in 2015 and exhibited at the 15th International Venice Biennale. Daniel currently works on bespoke projects throughout the UK and Ireland and on his first commercial holiday let development using his expertly designed, cost-effective and off-site manufactured building system for Scenic Lets. His work has been published throughout the world.
