Dallas-Pierce-Quintero

Dallas-Pierce-Quintero is an award-winning architecture and design studio based in London. Formed in 2009, by Jonathan Dallas, David Pierce and Juliet Quintero, the practice has grown to encompass a wide spectrum of work, all of which is underlined by a rigorous process to develop site-specific responses that respond to the client’s specific needs. They seek a subtle and sensitive sense of connection between the inside and outside spaces and a complexity to their projects that is natural and uncontrived.

The experience of the spaces they create, often with simple materials, and how they respond to light and landscape is what fascinates them. They enjoy designing projects in difficult sites that require imaginative solutions and they thrive on challenging budgets. When judging Courtyard House the RIBA jury observed: “The skills demonstrated in this design can be drawn on to exploit so many under-utilised residual pieces of land across the city.”

Their approach to architecture projects is collaborative and open, and by not having a house style, they take pride in a design approach that creates sustainable buildings that respond to both the client’s aspirations and to the immediate context. Recent projects have won RIBA, New London Architecture and Brick Association awards. Dallas-Pierce-Quintero is a RIBA Chartered Practice and was runner up in RIBA London’s Emerging Practice award 2015.

The Modern House Says
"Their much-lauded Courtyard House, a cleverly-conceived contemporary home on an east London infill site, is the calling card of this multidisciplinary studio's residential offering."
