Silverdale

Emerging from a cover of silver birch is Silverdale, an exemplary glass house designed by the celebrated German housebuilder Peter Huf. It lies on a private residential road close to the centre of Gerrards Cross, in the Chilterns, and extends across just under an acre plot of exquisitely designed gardens; these provide an ever-changing natural backdrop to the glazed walls. Internally, the house exceeds 4,600 sq ft and contains five bedrooms, as well as an arresting open-plan living space with double-height ceilings and three glazed aspects.
