The Glass Barn

The Glass Barn is a newly converted five-bedroom home of significant proportions overlooking the Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the village of Wadhurst. Designed by architect John Bullock, the barn draws its name from the extensive sections of glazing which frame far-reaching, uninterrupted views of the rolling hills and fields opposite. The interiors capitalise on the wonderful levels of natural light afforded by these windows, unfolding over an internal area of almost 7,000 sq ft that enjoys a superb sense of volume. Contemporary additions have been sensitively introduced, with great care taken to preserve the character of the original barn.
