This fantastic house on Balaclava Road was designed by Satish Jassal Architects and completed in 2021. The striking design is configured in two wings, descending two floors below ground level to open out onto a secluded patio garden and incredibly peaceful sleeping quarters. In contrast, the top floor of the house has been given over to a bright, open-plan living space with dramatic skylights and intricate contemporary wood panelling. In addition to these impressive internal spaces, there is also a private terrace. The house is just a few minutes walk from the cafes, bars and restaurants of Bermondsey Street.
