What We're Seeing: Mies van der Rohe Prize shortlist

Five UK residential schemes are among the shortlist of projects competing for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2015. The European Commission have named the 420 projects competing for the biennial European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, which has a top award of £48,000. The prize is awarded biennially to works completed within the previous two years. The five UK residential schemes on the shortlist are: a house in London by Rado Iliev; a house in the highlands, Scotland, by Raw Architecture Workshop; a house in London by 6a Architects; a house on the Isle of Tiree by Denizen Works; and a house in Somerset by Hugh Strange Architects.
