This year we’ve interviewed over 30 design-loving homeowners for our Journal, to get a snapshot into some of the UK’s most exceptional modern homes. We’re taking another look at the most viewed features, with our roundup of the top 10 home interiors of 2017.

1. Duncan Campbell and Luke Edward Hall’s maximalist Camden flat
We met with creative power-couple Duncan and Luke back in April, and they showed us around their eclectically-curated Camden apartment.

2. Restaurateur Mark Hix’s newly refurbished live/work apartment in Bermondsey
We revisited Mark in his Bermondsey apartment, having sold it to him in 2016, to see his garden room and ever-expanding art collection.

3. Supper club extraordinaire Hanna Geller Goldsmith’s reimagined 1930s home in Maida Vale
We met with Hanna this summer, for a tour of her immaculate Maida Vale period conversion (and some delicious baked treats).

4. Ray-Stitch haberdasher Rachel Hart’s renovated 1920s factory apartment in Hackney
Rachel celebrated completing the work on her new apartment in October by inviting us back to look around. We initially sold her the space in 2015.

5.  Botanical stylist Yasuyo Harvey’s family home in the London suburbs
We met with Yasuyo last month for a tour of her beautifully-crafted home in Worcester Park.

6. Designer Michael Anastassiades’ impeccable live/work space in Waterloo
We were invited for a tour of Michael’s home and studio, which he’s been perfecting since he bought it in the late 1990s.

7. Steve Gibbons and Heidi Lightfoot’s Scandi-style family home in Hertfordshire
We revisited Steve and Heidi, having sold them their 1930s home four years ago, to see their completed, colourful, refurbishment.

8. Jessica Robinson’s extraordinary Adjaye-designed Lost House in King’s Cross
Having bought it nearly a decade ago from The Modern House, Jessica and her husband Brian invited us back for another look at David Adjaye’s iconic Lost House.

9. Sam and Nelli Turner’s Rowley Way restoration
Fresh from celebrating architect Neave Brown receiving the RIBA Gold Medal, we took a trip to Rowley Way to see Sam and Nelli’s newly-refurbished family apartment, one year after selling it to them.

10. Graphic designer Marcia Mihotich’s seaside summer house in Whitstable
We took a trip to the coast to see Marcia’s simple seaside refuge.
