Studio Egret West

Since 2005, Studio Egret West have delivered high-quality design through the symbiosis of memorable architecture, strategic urban design and ecology-driven landscaping.  Their portfolio spans across all scales, from individually-crafted buildings to large-scale urban frameworks, as well as regenerative schemes. This latter work includes Park Hill, the iconic Brutalist housing estate in Sheffield, which was recognised with a RIBA Stirling Prize nomination in 2013. The Studio’s predilection for the ‘second life’ of a building has continued with their current role overseeing the refurbishment of Ernö Goldfinger’s Grade II* listed Balfron Estate in East London. They are also leading the design of a multitude of new build schemes across the UK and abroad.

The Modern House Says
"With their work at Park Hill and Balfron Tower, Studio Egret West have become the masters of breathing new life into Brutalist relics."
