SAM Architects are a London based design studio, established in 2013 by Melanie Schubert and Sandi Johnen. Both founders studied Architecture in Germany and Italy and have been working in London since the early 2000s, when they both worked for several well-known architects. Each member brings their own unique skills and experience to the team. This collective knowledge hugely benefits each project.

Their design solutions are uncomplicated, cost-effective, functional and innovative; rigorous research and good craftsmanship underpin the studio’s work. SAM’s work ranges from furniture design and small residential projects to large commercial sites and master planning projects throughout the UK and Europe.
