Laura Dewe Mathews established the studio in 2010.  Based in East London, the RIBA chartered practice focuses on residential projects.  Through a collaborative, hands-on approach, both during the design process and once in construction, the studio endeavours to produce careful, tailored architecture to meet the individual needs of each client.  The resulting spaces aim to inspire and delight users.

The studio’s first new build project, the Gingerbread House, won a series of awards for its ‘clever use of volumes and daylight’ and was published widely, including in World of Interiors.  The practice has since been included in the Architecture Foundation’s ‘New Architects 3’, a survey of Britain’s best emerging practices of the last ten years.
