Gruff are a team of architects and designers, creating enveloping spaces that tell stories that engage people and make them feel; that are open and inviting, and that are ultimately human.

Each project is crafted around the individual and unique context of each space. Their designs are engaged with all aspects of the built environment, maximising the potential of any scheme through a commitment to intelligent, considered and high-quality design. They have a methodical and structured work process with designs always being tailor-made to each brief.

Established in 2010, and run by directors Rhys Cannon and Emily Burnett, the office is based in south London and they work across London, the South East and further afield in the UK. They are an award and competition winning RIBA chartered practice.
