Simon Feneley established an independent studio after working for award winning practices, including RIBA Gold Medal winner Edward Cullinan.

Feneley Studio specialises in residential design, including housing developments, new one-off houses, bespoke extensions and remodelling of existing properties.

Working throughout Hertfordshire, London and the Home Counties, the studio has considerable experience of working on challenging and sensitive sites in both urban and rural settings.

Following the success of Hill House, a contemporary new build family home on a former garage site in Kent, and recipient of a Royal Tunbridge Wells Civic Society Award, the studio has gone on to work on a number of new build modern houses, including Thornfield Road, a Cross Laminated Timber house on a heavily restricted brownfield site in Shepherd’s Bush and a contemporary home in St Albans which features a series of enclosed courtyard gardens.

Smaller projects include remodelling and extending all types of homes, from mid-century modern to Edwardian villas and suburban
semis. Currently, the studio is involved in new build modern houses in St Albans, Essex and Bedfordshire.
