Daytrip

Daytrip is a London-based interior architecture and design studio founded in 2017 by Iwan Halstead and Emily Potter.

The studio has a diverse portfolio of work across residential and commercial sectors, including private houses, workplaces, luxury retail and hospitality. Daytrip takes a strong, creative approach to define a new aesthetic for each project. Often referencing both contemporary and classic influences, designs are informed by an understanding of the existing building, its purpose, and the client’s needs. Their process is underpinned by an intelligent use of materials and light, research and exploration, alongside a collaborative dialogue. Daytrip has the technical expertise and experience to offer a broad scope of work, including architectural extensions, interior remodelling and services coordination, through to decorating, lighting, furnishing and styling. The quality of their built work is highly praised and recognised, an accolade achieved by working closely with a trusted project team of consultants and constructors, their network of suppliers and involving the talents of artists and makers.

The Modern House Says
"If their first foray into resi projects, Powerscroft Road, is anything to go by, we're expecting big and beautiful things from this promising young studio."
