“The chair is the holy grail of design,” agreed designers Max Lamb and Gemma Holt when we visited them at their live/work space earlier this year. We’re certainly on the same page. The object in question is arguably one of the most humble and human, which is perhaps why creative minds have been reimagining our (often but not always) four-legged friends in myriad shapes and sizes since their inception.
