From the Archive: The Water Tower, Cheveley, Cambridgeshire
This former water tower, close to the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border, was originally converted into a home in the late 1970s by the architect Michael Carapetian. It was sold by The Modern House in 2017.
Following Carapetian’s initial conversion, the property was further refurbished by Trevor Jones, who purchased it in 1985. He described The Water Tower as ‘something truly unique … synthesising aspects of modern architecture and conservation architecture’.
