Built in the early 1960s, this four-bed Modernist house is one of the largest on the sought-after Southwood House Estate, a triangle of residences close to Highgate Village designed by Harley Sherlock of the architectural practice Andrews, Emerson, Sherlock & Keable. It was sold by The Modern House in early 2016.

The Southwood House Estate was developed between 1958 and 1962 on the site of the former Southwood House (c1745), which had become derelict and subsequently burned down. The houses on Jacksons Lane were the last to be completed, following those on Hillside Gardens and Southwood Lane.
