Statement

David Kohn Architects is a leading London-based firm specialising in arts and residential projects. The practice won ‘One-Off House Architect of the Year’ in 2010 for Stable Acre, a house in rural Norfolk which also won an RIBA Regional Award. In 2012, the practice’s one bedroom residence above the Queen Elizabeth Hall designed in collaboration with artist Fiona Banner, ‘A Room for London,’ won the Condé Nast Innovation Award, a New London Award, a D&AD Award and most recently an RIBA Regional Award 2013.

Established in 2007 by David Kohn, the practice has been gaining confidence and a wonderful idiosyncrasy in its architectural output over the last two years, with projects characterised by a bold use of patterns and colour. David Kohn Architects’ work is becoming instantly recognisable.
