William Bryce Binnie

William Bryce Binnie (1886-1963) was a Scottish architect who practised in America and England. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art and in 1910 moved to New York where he worked on Grand Central Station. He fought in the Second World War, during which he was decorated for bravery. In 1927 he moved to London and formed an association with fellow architect Claude Ferrier, who was known for his Art Deco style. Their architectural projects encompassed public, institutional, religious and domestic buildings, and included the East Stand at Arsenal stadium in Highbury.
